Preface
Walk to a Neutral Corner
When the classy boxer, Thomas Hearns, steps into the ring with an opponent, all things are fairly equal; that is, age, weight, height and so on. Keeping this in mind, I'd say boxing with a four-year-old is no way to start a day or end a night. Don't physically fight with your little girl or boy. It hurts.
As the proud mother of eleven healthy youngsters, there have been times I've wanted to strike one. But when I'd look down at my little opponent, I'd walk away to a neutral corner.
Walking away to a neutral corner takes planning. Over the years I've gained much insight on raising children and I want to share with you. Oh, by the way, ten of my children are boys.

Comments & Reviews
"...this is an excellent book for all parents and belongs in all homes. Child abuse is so pervasive, destructive and unnecessary. This book provides a clear understanding of many forms of child abuse and simple ways to avoid it."  Leland K. Bassett / Chairman, Bassett & Bassett, Inc.

The book, "How Not To Abuse Your Child" comes highly recommended by the psychologist facilitating our incest-counseling group…  Randy B. Romeo / Rape Response, Orlando, Florida

"How Not To Abuse Your Child" should be equally distributed in Grosse Pointe Farms, and the branch offices of Wayne County Department of Social Services.   Councilman Clyde Cleveland / Detroit City Council

"Parents will find 'How Not To Abuse Your Child' an excellent resource.   Elizabeth F. Hood, Columnist / The Michigan Chronicle
